had a win2000 domain. on domain had win98 client.Upgraded to sever2003 and renamed domain. All other clients xp or win2k r okay. when i try to sign on to network with 98 machine i get no DC to validate.All networking parameters seem to be configured okay,DSclient is installed(from 2000 ops),network neighbor hood shows all computers in network, i can ping DC by IP address and by host name. Active directory shows computer account for 98 client with associated server records,altho when i bring up property sheet in AD where it shows FQDN, its grayed out. No name.
When i run Nslookup i get host name.domain and IP with server cant find nslookup.
Is there a dfifferentt Dsclient associated with server2003?
