Running samba 2.2.0a
I have a Linux 2.4.20 Slackware box where, if I start a single
nmbd -D, it replicates about 10 copies/second. No clues why, by
looking at log.nmb...

I have a duplicate server on the same subnet, where that
does NOT happen (2.2.0a, same smb.conf, same inetd.conf, etc.)

What could be causing such behaviour ???
Thanks in advance.
