For Network load balancing two win2k3 servers between two data centers,
which is better?

I know that for Multicast I have to have an arp entry for the mac address...

But which is better?

Thanks,

Cactus

The only reason to use multicast is if you want to be able to communicate
between the two cluster nodes and you are not able to install a second
adapter for this purpose. Otherwise, unicast is the way to go since it
requires no special configuration of your switches. Neither unicast nor
multicast provides any benefits to the core role of an NLB cluster i.e.
serving the application.
