NLB Question about when NLB will react to a failed service (not Server)?

I know NLB can protect you from a failed server, but does it help with a
failed service?

Suppose you have two servers acting as a NLB cluster. I know that if one
server goes down the other server will take the failed server's connections,
when its clients reconnect that is...

But what happens when you have a system service running on both servers,
traffic is being processed by both servers, and all is well, when one of the
services dies. Does NLB react to this event and route all new connections to
the remaining server, or does it allow the failed service to "still" handle
the traffic from its assigned IPs?

My assumption is that when one of the services dies, NLB doesn't react
because the server is still OK as far as NLB is concerned...

Thanks,

Keith

you are right. NLB will not help you in this case.
