Hi,
I recently replaced my old Sun NIS/NFS server with a linux machine with 2
network interfaces.
The old sun was called sun-000 with 10.0.0.8 as IP address
the new linux machine is called lin-000/10.0.0.9 and the second interface
replaces the sun.
I kept the configuration from the sun... and named lin-000 a slave
This however doesn't quite work out.... connections are refused on the 10.0.0.9
interface.
this kind of message shows up in messages:
Jul 17 10:59:19 lin-000 ypserv[27271]: refused connect from 10.0.0.9:825 to
procedure ypproc_match
Jul 17 10:59:19 lin-000 ypserv[27271]: refused connect from 10.0.0.9:831 to
procedure ypproc_match
Jul 17 10:59:25 lin-000 ypserv[27271]: refused connect from 10.0.0.9:860 to
procedure ypproc_match
Jul 17 10:59:45 lin-000 ypserv[27271]: refused connect from 10.0.0.9:600 to
procedure ypproc_match
Jul 17 10:59:59 lin-000 ypserv[27271]: refused connect from 10.0.0.9:630 to
procedure ypproc_match
Anyone know how I can tell ypserv to accept connections on all interfaces?
