I have a system running kernel-2.4.31 with the grsecurity patches and
just built a new 2.4.33.3 kernel with the latest grsecurity patches. I
moved my kernel .config from the old source tree to the new and ran
"make oldconfig" as is my habit when updating kernels, built and
installed the new kernel and modules without problems, but when I boot
the machine fails to bind to my NIS server. Everything else works fine.
Revert to my old 2.4.31 kernel and it binds without problem. Anyone else
see this? Any ideas?
