NIS+ and SUSE9.1

Hi

I want to use SUSE 9.1 computers as NIS+ clients. It seems that SUSE has
removed the yast2 packages to configure NIS+ clients. Is it possible
to use older yast2 packages like those for 9.0 ? If not is there a
HOWTO or any help to do it by hand ? Or isn't it possible at all ?

Thanks

Henrik Schmidt

it seems that SuSE knows the problem. There is a text about it on the
SuSE mailinglist (german version) which you will find at

http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-l...-May/2031.html

But I think that you are at the moment not able to use it. We have got
the same problem.

Thats bad. Did someone try to install the NIS+ utils from source on
9.1 ? They are available at http://www.linux-nis.org/nisplus/nis-utils
