NIC Drivers

I am looking for an NIC device driver, a generic NIC Card
driver would probably work.

No, it probably would not. You'd almost surely need drivers for your
specific card, and if you don't have them the manufacturer will.

Need some help, to up date you , I have the 10 gig HD
installed and win 98 loaded. System seems to run fine.

I am attempting to install a 3com Megahertz 10/100
LAN+56k Modem card that was previuosly install an worked
fine. I can see the NIC in the Divice Mgr. It has a " ! "
in a yellow circle. When checking the Device Mgr, I can
see it There is a message stating

"The <type> device loader(s) for this device could not
load the device driver. (Code 2)"

I have relaoded drivers and uninstalled and re-installed
the card several times. In the Divce Mgr is states
NDIS.VDX , intkern.vdx would not allow drivers to load??
Additinal there is a sound card conflict also saying the
driver has not been loaded. Onnce I get the NIC installed
I can dwnld a sound drive, I hope. What could be the
problem.
