nic & tcp/ip binding

Hi,

I'm trying to connect a ASUS P4C800-E MB with Intel(R) Pro 1000 CT
nic built into the board to an existing network.

The other computers can see the ASUS but not browse it. The ASUS
can't see itself. I rechecked all the settings and everything is good
with one exception... the TCP/IP is not binding with the Intel nic
card. In other words... when I go into Network properties, I should
see "TCP/IP -> Intel(R) Pro 1000 CT" but I'm only seeing "TCP/IP" and
the nic card is not present. I believe this is the cause of the
problem. The nic card does work because I hooked it up directly to
the net so it's binding in some fashion. Re-installing did not fix
the problem and I could not find anything on MS-KB.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks for any help,
Barb

It still does not bind right "tcp/ip -> nic" but at least I was able
to get it working through the website that you suggested.

Thank you,
Barb

I believe you only see the name of the network card if there are more
than one installed...
