When I check the registration page for our local exchange I normally see 96
people have registered. But now it has changed to:

Thanks for your interest in ADSL broadband. We hope to bring this service to
your area and are currently reviewing the most appropriate solution. We'll
keep you updated on progress so please continue to visit this site.

Our initial test on your line suggests that you should be able to have an
ADSL broadband service that provides up to 2Mbps download speed.

When you place a firm order, a final test will be performed to confirm that
your line is suitable, and the speed of services that you can choose from.

If you haven't done so already, please register your interest in ADSL
broadband.

So I checked more local exchanges and they also say the same thing. Is this
a new thing BT have put up just to get people of there backs ? or is there
now a real hope ?

Regards

Steve
