...and are currently testing a rather nice new beta server if I read
rightly?

Any plans to lower your prices out of interest, James? I'm a Zen
customer, but it's just too expensive now. I dont need the subnet - Zen
should offer a package for £22-23 a month with just one Static IP.

I see no reason why they do not do this as they must be loosing
customers because of it :/

Yep, nice shiny new news server. New disk arrays. I can't remember
how big they are offhand, but I think we'll be aiming for a weeks
binary retention.

No plans to lower the price as far as I know. Our niche is to be the
best ISP in terms of reliability, quality, and support (and speed),
and lowering our prices could compromise this.

This is unfortunately.

I understand this, but you are ultimately no different to any other VERY
GOOD ISP. And these other very good ISPs charge around £4-5 less than
you do.

Maybe, but it's the opportunity cost isn't it? I just think Zen should
maybe re-think its pricing a bit. They've lost me as a customer because
of it

btw - slrn .8.0 is out, tis trés good
