Hi

I cant get my internet to work on the new wireless that I have installed.
The connection is fine as I am able to transfer files but not hook up to the
www.

Any ideas

If you enter IPconfig /all at the DOS Command and the IP returned is the 169
IP, The O/S timed out and assigned the IP. The 169 IP will allow resource
sharing but it will not allow the machine to access the Internet, since the
O/S never got an IP form a DHCP server on the network. This usually happens
due to some mis-configuration of the wireless NIC or router if a router is
in play.
