Newbie - Wireless Router w/ linux firewall

I have configured mandrake 9 with 2 network cards. The first network card
is connected to the internet and the 2nd network card is connected to my
internal network. Everything works.

Now, I have purchased a wireless hub/router and attached that to the
internet and then from there to my first network card. The problem is now
my first network card will not show an ip address and i can not ping the
router or get internet. The internal network card for seems to work fine.

What am i doing wrong????

Were you previously using DHCP? If so, did you enable the DHCP server in
the firewall?
