Our IT guy is in the hospital and he recently changed our server to windows
2003 and forgot to set up the vpn. I thought I had figured out how, I
enabled the port forwarding on the router and set up a couple of users to
have vpn access. When I try to VPN from home it authenticates fine but i
can't see any of the shared folders on the network. please help, sorry for
the lack of information but I don't know too much about what i'm doing.

Thanks in advance

quoted from http://www.ChicagoTech.net "VPN server is a Virtual Multihomed Server". meaning even you have just one NIC on the vpn server, after establishing the vpn, it ads another PPTP and IP. If you have correct configuration, you should be able to ping both IPs.
