Hi!
Having no experience whatsoever with WLAN cards I ask the following:
I KNOW that Belkin pcmcia -cards have worked on linux for some time, as
some NG recommended it for a choice, but...
has anyone installed it on SuSE 8.2 pro?
....and gotten it to function?
how do I install and enable it?
How do I conf the firewall to observe that connection? SuSE fw offers to
protect ppp and eth connections on the menu...will YaST2 or other add
the WLAN to the menu automagically or is some additional confing needed?
Card:
Belkin 2100, 802.11b, 11 Mbps.
Machine:
Doubleboot with SuSE 8.2 prof. I think kernel= 2.4.20 with the usual
SuSE additionals, machine is relatively new Dell notebook, 1.8 GHz, 512
Mb and such, so additional counting is no pain if some good WLAN easing
software requires it.
Thanking ya all in advance,
Mr. Manne Laukkanen,
