Newbie needs to know....

The basics of how to set up a laptop to be able to find/access wireless
networks while traveling on vacation. My laptop runs win98 and has a DLink
wireless pcmcia card for home wireless connection.

Please post newbie instructions, hints, tutorials, urls.
