I have 2 new servers I've just installed 2003 ServerR2 OS on. They have
joined the domain. I can ping out from the servers, but I cannot ping into
the servers. The firewall is not enabled. ICS is not enabled. I'm sure it
is something I've missed when setting them up. I set up another 2003R2
server last week as an IIS server and it is communicating fine. Any ideas on
where to look? Thanks.

Have you enabled RRAS? Can you ping the server self?

Humm... Yes, I get a response when the server pings itself. RRAS is
disabled. RRAS is also disabled on the IIS Server I built last week and it
communicates fine both directions.

Found the problem. My network guy had not added the MAC to the DNS Server
and I was set to automatic to use DHCP on my server. I initially set the
static address; but at some point it got switched to automatic. Once he
added the MAC addy to the DNS Server, I can communicate just fine. Thanks!!
