I have a home network with a laptop running xp home, and destop running xp
pro and a second destop that I just installed mandrake linux 9.2 on. I've
never even seen linux until last night when I installed it. It looks nice
and I got the internet connection right away. However, I cannot figure out
how to get email on the linux machine. How do I set up Kmail? or another I'm
using KDE? (also another question in a second post) Thanks for any help I
may get....

If you are familiar with mozilla or netscape for wintendo, it should be no
problem to configure the mozilla mail client for linux.

Open a console/xterm (looks like a dos promt) and type 'mozilla' or go to
the "start applications button" > internet > webbrowser or something of
the kind (I'm translating from dutch

http://docs.kde.org/en/3.1/kdenetwor...g-started.html

Set up your identity (name and email address), then set up the accounts
for sending and receiving mail. You need the information about email
servers given to you by your ISP.
