Looking at deals with 12 months free line rental :

1. But it can't be 3 - too many dropped calls.
Orange or O2 see reliable.

2. Want 300 or more inclusive texts.

Any ideas? SMS bolt ons seem a tad expensive:

Orange 120 £8, 360 £24 as in ouch
O2 havn't a clue - cannot find a text bundle on their site

Damit I didnt read about this side effect on the label.

Ah well, sorry for the intrusion chaps, as you were. Guess I'd better
get of then....<sounds of a rucksack being packed with
essentials...clinking of aged bottles>...

Now then which way did that arrow point to uk.telecom.mobile...

just pick up one of the '300 free text' sims from 02. You just have to
credit a tenner a month to it and that tenner isn't used to pay for the
texts.

Plenty on EBay for pennies. Why go for a contract when that's about?

Well, there is an O2 package which is PAYG but if you top up at least
£10 per month you get 300 free texts. There is a monthly dealine date
but if you miss it and top up a week later they change the deadline
date and give you the 300 free texts starting from the new day.

No idea if there are details on the website, I found out about it when
I called O2 to switch my daughter's phone from contract to PAYG.
