new business

I am thinking of buying a small WISP business here in south africa.
the technology has just been introduced and some of the big players are busy
rolling out their networks and services.


good idea or not to buy this small business and grow it?

costs?
technical issues?
profitability?
will it take of? ( how has it done in USA, UK, AUS ?)

any advice will be very welcome.

Unless they already have a lot of customers, you'd be better off to
build your own from scratch. Why would they be selling out if it's a
good business to stay in? If you need to learn more about the WISP
business (and it sounds like you do) you may want to subscribe to and
read everything for a few months on the isp-wireless mail list.
