Just got transferred to Bulldog from Plus.Net today and surprisingly, it
all went without a hitch.

I'm getting the following readings:

Direction Actual Speed True Speed (estimated)
Downstream 6255 Kbps (781.9 KB/sec) 6755 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream 489 Kbps (61.1 KB/sec) 528 Kbps (inc. overheads)

Downstream Upstream
SNR Margin (dB): 13.3 20.0
Attenuation (dB): 22.0 11.0

Is this good, bad?

worse luck, i'm leaving bd on the 4th as its such a crap service! C/S are
crap, my connection speed is crap, 1.5Meg (18% of 8Meg) and I can't wait to
get back to Pipex or NDO...

It's good if it is better than you expected and bad if it is worse than
you expected.

What were you expecting?

If everything went smoothly and your speeds are high then its good

From looking at your line stats you still have room for a higher sync rate
if you do not currently sync at 8192 which based on your attenuation you
probably do. Lucky git!

Cheers for that. I was wondering about the higher speed.
