NEW BT SOCKET 'BOX'

Whilst there are still a few BT people who have mis-understood the WLR3
training and brief on the External Network Termination Box, BT have now
announced the all new NTE Socket Box.

......

New BT NTE5 socket box is more than a pretty face(!)

What is a Bell Wire Filter?
The Bell Wire Filter has been shown to substantially reduce noise in end
user premises improving SMPF (SHARED METALIC PATH FACILITY - In other words
the copper pair from the exchange) (ADSL) downstream noise margins or data
throughput as a result. It can resolve DSL faults caused by interference
from broadcast radio signals and electrical noise and works by reducing the
conversion, caused by the bell wire unbalance at the end user premise, of
induced radio signals and electrical noise into noise on the line that can
cause DSL faults. Interference causes customer complaints and faults some of
which are difficult to resolve and may be the cause of line conditions or
faults that give Line Test OK test results.

What about the ADSL SSFP? (Service Specific Face Plate - The Big Chunky
filter faceplate some are keen on)
This works in a slightly different way but achieves the same result and also
has a built in broadband filter. However the downside is that it ties the
end user to plugging the computer or hub into the NTE whereas the Bell Wire
Filter NTE (or frontplate) will enable the end user to continue to use an
extension socket for their broadband connection. The ADSL SSFP is also more
expensive than the Bell Wire Filter frontplate or NTE.

Do I still use the replacement Bell Wire Filter frontplate?
Yes, until stocks are exhausted please continue to order and fit these to
resolve noise interference problems.

Why is the branding changed?
Tthe full Openreach logo has been reproduced. The timing fitted in with the
Bell Wire Filter change so we can also use the logo to identify this fact.
However it is still permissible to fit the older NTE5A until stocks are
exhausted.

What about the old "BT Piper" NTE5A
These can continue to be fitted in non-broadband situations until vans
stocks are exhausted.

So NEW NTE5's (internal) are on their way and at last DSL friendly.

Old news, have been fitting them for at least a month & the
faceplates on their own have been available for several more.

Do try to keep up, but thanks for putting Graham in his place about
the RF pick up by the bell wire though as he just doesn't believe it
possible, due to all of his many qualifications...

The news was for non BTO people you retarded fuckwit. We were given the OK
today to release the information to the public at large. Remember that thing
about controlling information. Bell End.

If you have only been fitting them for a month then you need to try and
catch up. We were fitting them (both the socket and SSFP) from last
November. Still, I guess your output is so shit that you only use the odd
NTE here and there.

Never mind little boy, when you have the demands upon your time as I
have (due to skilling) then you can crow. Until then go back to sleep,
you know your chairs getting lonely, the one with your customized
buttocks crease....

You know what they say about empty vessels & noise, well you're making
a hell of a lot of noise about very little....

Ever heard of ferrite cores for stopping RF down a phone line? Very easy to
fit and stop it dead. I hope you don't work for BT as your info is a bit
old. That equipment you mention has been used for a while now.

Being nasty like this will only make people not bother taking any notice
of you.

There does come a time when people have to grow up.

If you say so, remind me, how many months was it you were off sick for?

Much of that is your own doing. You keep rolling on about the same tired old
shit.
I am not really concerned what you think, or your feelings for that matter
as you know fuck all squared and I've yet to see you post anything
interesting or helpful. You keep telling yourself you are wonderful. There
are plenty of us that know you are a lazy old wanker. You done, or you want
to carry on for the last word like a kid?

<snip nasty stuff>

Do you have something of interest to say to the readers of this NG (in
polite language if possible)?

If so, I'd love to read it.

What/who is a "killfile retard?"
I could hazard a guess...
;-)
