I took a new broadband connection.....like to know wht is the normal
amount of downloaded data if i browse for 4 hours daily.....

All depends on the content of the sites you are visiting. If they only have
text on the site, then each webpage would be approx 3k in size. However, if
the site has lots of flash/shockwave animation, or the images are high
resolution, then each page would be approx 500k in size.

There's some utils that will check your downloads and report your usage. I
think a good one is DUmeter.

And I use Down2Home which really is a piece of cake.

One point to remember with any of these monitors is that they monitor what
goes to and from the individual PC. So if you have more than one PC on a
network you need to install a monitor on each and also remember that any
traffic between the PCs, even though it is not internet traffic, will be
recorded. I back up between two PCs and always turn the monitor off while
it is taking place. Otherwise your usage figures are distorted.
