Is there a program or setup disk to allow Windows 98
Machines to connect to my W2K Adv Srvr?

Thanks for responding to my networking issue.

I have two Windows 2K Adv Servers in the same domain.
(Just added 2nd Server) This is setup as a LAN without
remote access routing. The IP Address scheme is a made
up to be private but is consistent throughout the
network. 111.222.49.100 - 111.222.49.254

ie.
Server1
Server2
Domain1

All of the "Server1" shares currently work fine within
the combination of Win98 SE and XP Pro workstations.

Now I've added a 2nd server, "Server2", the new server
has been added to the Domain and the Active Directory is
currently working on the new server. However, only the
XP Pro machines can access the data and applications on
the new server. None of the Win98 boxes have access to
the new server's HD or Directories. When I try to
access the new server, through Network places or
neighborhood to add a shared folder or drive
from "Server2" I receive a message asking for a password
for IPC$ on the new server. I have no folder/directory
(s) or drives showing for that new server in the network
listing, only the message requiring a password. As the
administrator, neither server has any special rights
needed between them. they use the same Active Directory
Service. Only one A/D shows... Same user/group list is
seen for both servers.

What is needed to be able to access the 2nd server on my
win98 machines???
(Upgrading all computers to XP Pro is not currently in
the plans.)

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Jim
