For the hardware setup, connect the two computers in one of these
ways:
1. Directly to each other, using a crossover Ethernet cable.
2. To a hub, switch, or broadband router, using two regular Ethernet
cables.
For the software setup, all you need to do is run XP's Network Setup
Wizard on both computers and answer its questions:
