Networking a Win 98 PC to a Win XP laptop

Hello
I was wondering if anyone could guide to networking my win
98 pc to my win xp laptop. All have the network card...

Are there any resources out there?

For the hardware setup, connect the two computers in one of these
ways:

1. Directly to each other, using a crossover Ethernet cable.

2. To a hub, switch, or broadband router, using two regular Ethernet
cables.

For the software setup, all you need to do is run XP's Network Setup
Wizard on both computers and answer its questions:
