Is there a easy guide on how to network a Windows XP Home PC and another on
Windows 2000 Pro?

I have a Netgear DG834GT router. (ex sky, flashed with Netgear's own
standard firmware)

I don't know of any, but the main things are to ensure the computers are in
the same workgroup and create users on the 2k PC that match (same name and
password) those used on the XP Home PC. Don't forget to check firewall
settings to make sure the traffic isn't being blocked.

HTH,
Alex

Plug each PC in to the router via ethernet cables. Make sure both PCs in
same workgroup and with DHCP enabled.
