Networking W98 to Xp Home

I recently networked my 2 pc's together with much aggro,
but it did eventually work OK. Heres the bad news, I have
now somehow lost the network, I am running XP home as the
master, & W98 (not SE) as the client.
The Xp is connected to a cable modem via USB & is all
working fine.
I have run the network setup various times,
I am using a Netgear EN 104 ethernet hub with twisted
pair wiring, I can ping both computers from both
computers using IP addresses & computer names OK, I can
see the W98 from XP, and access the files, hard drive etc
OK, but I get nothing in the network neighborhood from
the W98 machine,& on start up in W98 it says that no
domain is present.
I am using IP address 192.168.01 on theXP & 192.168.0.2
on W98, subnet mask is set to 255.255.255.0

In a peer-to-peer home network there will be no domain present.

This problem has now been rectified......somehow the p2p
had been diabled & it all works fine now....many thatnks
