Hello,

How difficult is it to install a wireless network with ICS
on two W98 computers? I understand that W98 must be
upgraded to SE in order to have the required ICS files. Is
there a CD available to upgrade W98 to SE? If so, where?

Thanks,

John

don't use ICS, use a (free) software proxy and you can use W98

If you're buying wireless and you're on broadband, why not just get a
wireless router and forget using ICS.

There should be no obvious problems with ICS and WLAN which you wouldn't
have with ICS and other network-types.
But be warned: Most probably you get happier with an router not based on
W98. ICS is nothing nice and it doesn't work very well.

You might be able to find a W98SE upgrade disk for next to nothing at
a computer swap meet or auction web site.
