In Windows 98 I go to Windows help, then to networking
troubleshooting, click on "I am unable to find other
computers in the Network Neighborhood list", click
on "next", and the window goes blank and remains blank.

I would like to get the troubleshooter working again.

This procedure should get the troubleshooters working again:

1) Click Start > Settings > Folder Options > View tab, click to enable
"Show All Files", and then click OK.

2) In Windows Explorer, locate the file tshoot.inf in the directory
\Windows\Inf.

3) Right-click the file, and then select Install from the context
menu.
