Hello;

Can anyone help me resolve an issue with My Network
Neighborhood. I have three machines on my network; 2
running Windows ME and 1 running Windows 98 SE. On my
Windows 98 SE machine, I do not have any network icons in
My Network Neighborhood. I have gone through the setup a
number of times, hardware & software, however, it still
does not work.

I do, however, have full functionality with my ME
machines. All the appropriate icons are in the My Network
Places, I can see the drives for the Windows 98 SE machine
on each of the ME machines and I can print to the printer
that is attached to the 98 Se machine. Any advice you can
give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

On windows 98 machine:
Start->Stettings->Network
Kill all network cards including dial-up adapter.
Press ok (Win will say you that configuration is not
finished - ignore message).
Reboot your PC.
Win should detect your network adapter. Set up tcp/ip
reboot and enjoy.
