Hi, i was wondering if anyone out there could help, i've had ubuntu
working for around a week now and am really enjoying using it however
i'm having problems with networking. I've finally managed to get it to
connect to my osx desktop machine, but whenever i copy a file off of it
i get transfer rates of around 25kbs. Obviously this isn't right and i
was wondering if anyone knew why?

I thought it might be something to do with the protocol the os is using
but i don't really know enough about linux to know for sure.

Thanks
Andrew
