Networking Printers

I have two pc's running on windows xp and have tried networking them by
running the network wizard on both systems. When i try to add a printer
through the network, i can select the desired printer but when i click next,
i am told that the printer has lost it's connection to the server. When i try
adding a networked printer from the other system i have no problems.
Is there anything i can do?

make sure your firewall isnt' blocking any connections for shared resources.
Try putting a rule to allow anything originating on the same subnet through
(i.e. 192.168.0.0 PASS)
