My dad has set up a wired network with three pc's all
sharing broadband via a Linksys WAG54G router. (We
had wireless but it didn't work properly) and I have an Xbox
connected to Xbox Live in my room with one of the networked
pc's but instead of swapping te cable all the time, can anyone
reccommend a router that is compatible with Xbox Live

TIA

All you need in your room is a switch or hub, and another 2 cables. If
the new hub/switch is autosensing for uplink, then just hook it up,
otherwise use the uplink port if there is one.
then connect the PC and X-Box to the hub/switch.
Should all work. If not, you have the wrong cables.
