I am running:

Debian Woody, Customised 2.4.20 kernel (nforce2 agpgart patch)
nForce2 Motherboard (Leadtek K7NCR18D)

and are trying to get a kernel module working. I am using the latest
(1.0.0261) nvnet module for my integrated networking card. I can load it
manually, but it doesnt display a eth0 device (I am using DevFS, and not
using DevFS, MAKEDEV script doesnt know how to make one) and I cant seem to
find anything in /proc about it. My main questions are:

1. Is this normal behaviour?
2. How do I get a /dev/eth0 device? (Do I need one?)

You don't get one nor need one.
