networking between 98 and millenium

I have 2 pentium II computers, one with windows 98 other with millenium. I
also have 10/100 BT ethernet 32 bit PCI card and CAT 5e patch cable, 4 pair
UTP-24 AWG cable. will I have to install drivers of the card on both
computers?

Yes you will. You also will have to use a cross over cable if you don't have
a hub, switch or a router switch.

yes perhaps 'CAT 5e patch cable' is to be used as a crossover cable.
