Networking after Removal of Novell

Removed novell off a ME machine and added it to a 2000
domain disabled password cache and enabled domain logon
confirmation to make sure the machine logs onto the
network. Problem i get is that it does not prompt for
network logon, until windows in. The machine is set to
log onto the domain with login validation enabled. What
reg setting is it that will make the me machine boot
straigh up with a netwotk authentication screen
