I was hoping to share my network with several neighbours wirelessly,
but I'm not entirely sure if/how it can be done.
If I were to connect to the internet in my house and broadcast a
wireless signal could my immediate neighbours pick that up and then
forward it to their neighbours (who are too far from my house to get a
direct signal)?

This will probably do the trick!

If you don't mind spending a little these routers are the WIFI installers
top pick for range, quality and features. You won't find them in most
retail locations, do a google for the model that you want and buy
from one of their authorized dealers.

If you spent half as much time helping people as you do
being a blowfly you might get something accomplished.

My usenet history that I have goes as far back as 1996. Probably
beyond that, but that's all I have.

Yours ?
