networking 98 to XP

I can not network windows 98 to windows XP. I have found
out that to network these to systmes windows 98 has to be
a second edition or newer like ME. Where can I get a
update of windows 98 second edition or ME and can it be
simply loaded and override 98?

No, there's no need for Windows 98 Second Edition -- someone
apparently gave you bad information. All versions of Windows can
network with each other.

Run XP's Network Setup Wizard on each computer to make all the
necessary network settings:
