Hello all,

I am trying the following:

To network three computers without Hub.

I installed two network cards in Host computers, and a single network card
in each of the Clients.

My Main goal is to share the internet connection. ( through USB ADSL
Modem ).

Host computer runs on Windows 98, when I enable Internet Connection Sharing
I also have to choose the network card that i use to connect to my home
network. Whatever choice I make here will enable the computer connected to
that particular Network card to use the internet.

But I would like to be able to use both computers at the same time to
connect to the internet.

I this possible?

I thought there was software that would enable to use your computer as a
Hub?

Who can help?

Thanks!!

Best,

Ryan

You can use a proxy server like the free one from analogx in open
mode. You will also need to use a firewall to stop other Internet
users from using the proxy.

Windows 98 SE can't use Internet Connection Sharing over two different
network cards, but Windows Me and Windows XP can.

If possible, my advice is to buy an inexpensive hub or switch and make
your life easier.

I didn't realise winme could do that. Do you have to configure a winme
ics server dfferently to use two cards instead of one?

Thanks

Sorry, Jim -- I meant that the entire article that starts on that page
has the information. To access the two-card information
sequentially, click "Let's go see what ICS looks like when it's
installed." at the bottom of the first page, then click the link at
the bottom of the next page. To access it randomly, go to:
