No, there is no restriction. At home I currently connect all my pc's to a
linksys dsl router. The wireless internet link connects to my router's wan
port. The pc's all connect to the router's lan ports. The router is setup as
a dhcp server, hence the workstations on the lan are all set to 'obtain an
IP address from a dhcp server' The servers on the network are set static
IP's and outside of the dhcp server's scope. Simultaneous Internet and lan
connectivity is not a problem.
