Having successfully just networked 4 PC's can anyone recommend any games
that take advantage of networking?

cheers

Steven.

Quake III runs on just about any recent machine (I have it running
perfectly on a 500mhz Celeron with a PCI Voodoo3 2000), and you don't
need the CD in the drive to run it.
Ditto Quake II and Unreal Tournament.

I don't know about games which aren't first person shooters, but I'm an
FPS nut.

Are games the ultimate test of a network?

No, no-one said they were, but IMHO they're one of the best, if not
*the* best use of a network

I don't know are they? I couldn't care less what is, as I never asked that.
I would reckon most folk network home PC's for 4 reasons. Internet Sharing,
File Sharing, Printer Sharing and Networked Games.
I've done the internet bit.
Done the file and printer bit, unless you can suggest some juicy big file to
send over the network!!! *yawn*
So now I'd like to try the games bit.

Steven.
