Network Utility Problem?

I recently bought the MN-700 base station - great product
by the way. MS did a decent job in product delivery here
(as much as I like to pick on MS for product quality
sometimes).

Anyhow, when I open "Microsoft Broadband Network Utility"
and click on Tools, "Base Station Management Tool" is
greyed out and inaccessable. Anyone know why this might
be the case. I search the web site, no luck.

Greg.

It seems to be a known issue that people are running into
To get around it
Open your web browser and type http://192.168.2.1 (or whatever you've
changed the lan ip of the router to).
This will give you the exact same configuration pages as the path you listed
below.

Can you access the BSMT by entering its IP address in your
web browser address window? 192.168.2.1

Yes, I have no problem directing my web browser to the IP
address of the router. Works like a charm, which is why
I was wondering what is up with the tool.

I take it since this is a known issue that it's being
worked on?

Greg.

They know about it. However, it won't hurt to formally report this by
calling into the support lines.
