Network time protocol Sync Problem

I am running version 2.4.20-18.7 and have tried to sync to several time
servers but always get the same failed response.

root# /usr/sbin/ntpdate -u ntp-wustl.usno.navy.mil

root# 27 Jul 19:45:53 ntpdate[10999]: no server suitable for
synchronization found

Any ideas why this command fails? It's not just this server but ANY I try.

Thanks

Are you blocking UDP port 123 incoming at your firewall?

nope...I wish it were that simple. I can see the NTP traffic using
Ethereal.. me to server(NTP), server to me(NTP), me to server(ICMP)
"ICMP Destination Unreachable"

Sounds to me like it's blocked at the firewall. Check your iptables
rules.
