network sharing ME and Win98

I have a network set up with a LinkSys router, ME PC and Win98 laptop.
The ME PC can see and use shared folders on the 98 but the 98 cant see the
ME. As a matter of fact when I explore the network neighborhood on the 98 it
hangs with the Flashlight.
Any help appreciated
