Dear fellows,
We are trying to set a network share between 2 servers (w2K3 R2+SP2 ent X86)
that have IPv6 only defined.
Each one of them succeeds to map to its own share via IPv6, but fails to map
the other machine's share.
The error says "the network location cannot be reached"
All other IPv6 communications between the machines run just fine (WEB,
telnet,...).
The IPv6 addresses are global scope (such as 2002:8277:b48b::8277:b498).
I saw a note at the MS doc here:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/net...6/ipv6faq.mspx
saying that W2K3 supports IPv6 "File and print sharing over IPv6 using
site-local addresses"
Looking at the "site-local" definition I defined an IPv6 such as:
feec:8277:b48b::8277:b498
and this still does not work.
Can you provide an example of such configuration that works ?
Thanks,
Jack.
