Network/Router problem

Have a three system network (2 win98 desktops & 1 win xp wireless laptop)
through a MR814 Netgear router.

Network seemed fine until ran AdAware on one desktop. Now it seems I can't
get that machine to make a windows network connection, despite the fact that
I can ping the router from that computer and can even ping external ip
addresses. So it would seem that the system sees the router and can even
send out a ping over the internet.

Yet I cannot get any Windows app (e.g. Browser, email, instant messenger) to
access the internet.

I am also unable to access the router interface via my the browser and
cannot telnet into the router but that may be a different problem as that is
the situation on all workstations at this point.

The other desktop and the laptop seem to be having no difficulty with
internet access.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

See if this tool will help:

http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

If your copy of AdAware is an older one, replace it.
