I have a new computer (Computer 1) running XP Pro. Computer 1 is connected
to a cable modem through a wireless D-Link Router 624 (802.11g). Computer 1
has all the printers installed on it and stores all the files.

I have a laptop (Computer 2) running XP Home with a D-Link wireless cardbus
adapter.

I have a computer (Computer 3)running XP Pro with a Wireless USB adapter.

All computer can connect to the internet.

BUT, in My Network Places:

Computer 1 can see Computers 2 and 3.

Computers 2 and 3 can see each other.

Computer 2 and 3 cannot see Computer 1.

Computer 2 (the laptop) used to work just fine until I got the new computer
(Computer 1). Computer 2 and 3 only need file sharing and printer sharing.
(Computer 3 is a computer that will eventually go away after I get all my
"stuff" transferred to the new computer.)

I don't know whether I should be troubleshooting networking, or wireless, or
what. Any help will be appreciated.

Because you have a mix of XP Pro and Home see:

If one or more of the computers is XP Pro:

a. If you need Pro's ability to set fine-grained permissions, turn off
Simple File Sharing (Folder Options>View tab) and create identical user
accounts/passwords on all computers.

b. If you don't care about using Pro's advanced features, leave the
Simple File Sharing enabled since XP Home can only authenticate as
Guest.

Simple File Sharing means that Guest (network) is enabled. This means
that anyone without a user account on the target system can use its
resources. This is a security hole but only you can decide if it
matters in your situation.

Then create shares as desired. XP Home does not permit sharing of users'
home directories (My Documents) or Program Files, but you can share
folders inside those directories. A better choice is to simply use the
Shared Documents folder.

If that doesn't work for you, here is an excellent network
troubleshooter by MVP Hans-Georg Michna. Take the time to go through it
and it will usually pinpoint the problem area(s) -
