I have two windows , Win2000 advanced server,&Win2003
Enterprise edition(Trail Version) installed on one
machine, when I login using the Win2000 Version i can
communicate with other machine on my Netowrk, but when i
login using the Win2003 Version i can not communicate with
these machines on my Network, i tried to make the Ping
Command on the Win2003 Machine to one machine on my
Network and i recived reply message, but when i make the
Ping command on any machine i recieved Request Time out
message, I haven't any problem using the Win2000 Advanced
Server Verison, So Could you please help me to solve this
problem,
Thanks in Advance,

Osama Kamal

Hi,

Do you have ICF (Internet Connection Firewall) enabled on Windows 2003
Server? To check open Network properties (e.g. "Local Area Connection") and
click on Advanced Tab. Make sure that "Protect my computer and network by
limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet" is not
selected.

I hope this helps,

Mike
