Network problem after compaq full restore

I have a peer to peer network of 4 pcs running win98se. All are working well
until I did a full restore on the compaq Presario 5346. After the
restoration, I can only see this computer on the entire network, it also
cannot be accessed from the other three computers.
The followings are checked:
* Replace the network card
* Replace the cable
What is the possible cause? Can anyone help me to rectify the problem.
