network printers questions

We have two DC's and several member servers used for filesharing and
applications.
We also have 11 network printers.
Currently the drivers for these printers are on one of the DC servers.

What is the best practice regarding where network printers should live?
Do network printers cause a significant performance hit?

Hello Will,

Use a member server for them, DC's should only do the work for the domain,
nothing else.
